Let’s write about hope in our lives.
To help us, there is a wonderful poem by Emily Dickinson that begins:
‘’Hope is the thing with feathers/ That perches in the soul/ And sings the tune without the words, / And never stops at all.’’
Write about a time in your life when you thought hope had deserted you, but like the fluttering ‘’thing with feathers,’’ came back to your life. Or, another way to think about hope is to reflect upon a time when you were waiting for the answer to your prayers – and, finally, suddenly it came. What happened?

What Is the Hope You Are Waiting So Eagerly For?
